Microsoft Dispells Natal Rumors

Last week there were rumors regarding Microsoft’s forthcoming motion sensing technology, codenamed Project Natal.  The rumors stated that the new accessory, a camera with motion sensors and built in microphone, will be coming to consumers towards the end of 2010 and will be targeting impulse buyers with a price of $50.

Microsoft yesterday stated that the rumors were false and that they still had many issues to workout regarding the launch of the new device before anything related to specifics for Natal will be released.  Chris Lewis, Microsoft’s Xbox division head of Europe, jokingly added, “Now you know better than to listen to that stuff! We will announce in good time.”
